Раней нават не ведаў, што есць такая рэч, як дыскусійныя фестывалі. А сёння нават паўдзельнічаў у адным з іх.
На імпрэзе пад назвай “Butent!” (літ. – “Менавіта!”) у курортным Бірштонасе сёння была размова на тэму “Беларусь-Літва: што далей?” з удзелам выкладчыкаў Універсітэта Вітаўта Вялікага. Быў і я.
Гедрыюс Чэснакас сканцэнтраваў сваю прамову на будаўніцтве АЭС у Беларусі – ля самай мяжы з Літвой, Міндаўгас Наркявічус і Таццяна Чуліцкая – на узаемаадносінах Беларусі і ЕС. Я вырашыў расказаць пра кантэкст: што есць палітычны рэжым у Беларусі і чаму рэпрэсіі займаюць у ім такую важную ролю. Прамовіў аб тым, як праходзілі сакавіцкія акцыі пратэсту і аб тым як беларускія карныя структуры засвоілі досвед Майдана, пачаўшы прасаваць нефармальныя моладзевыя рухі (футбольных фанатаў і інш).
Слухачоў было няшмат (адначасова ішло некалькі іншых дыскусій), але ўсе зацікаўленыя

I did knot know before that such things as discussion festivals even exist. But today I took part in one.
On a event called “Butent!” (lithuanian: “Exactly!”) in a resort town Birshtonas today there was a talk named “Belarus-Lihuania: what next?” with participation of Vitautas Magnus University professors. I also participated.
Gedrius Chesnakas in his speech stressed the issue of building the nuclear power plant in Belarus – on an Belarusian-Lithuanian border. Mindaugas Narkiavichus and Tatsiana Chulitskaya – on relationhips between Belarus and the EU. I decided to introduce a bit of a context: how does the political regime in Belarus looks like and why repressions play such a considerable role in it. Also I spoke about the March protests against “law on social parasites”, and how Belarusian repressive structures adopted the experience of Maydan, starting to suppress informal youth movements (football fans and others).
There were no many listeners (few other discussions were in progress in the same time), butt all of them were looking interested 🙂
