[ENGLISH FOLLOWS]
Апошнія тры дні прабыў у Празе – збольшага па справах, але і для адпачынку знайшоўся час. Трэба адзначыць, даўно не прывозіў з сабой столькі ўражанняў.
12-14 траўня ў Празе, на сквоце Klinika праходзіў 5-ы міжнародны анархісцкі кніжны кірмаш, куды я і быў запрошаны.
Увечары 12-га адбыўся мой выступ перад паплечнікамі на тэму “Турэмная сістэма ў Беларусі”. А на наступны дзень – падрабязная прэзентацыя аб мінулых пратэстах супраць “закону аб дармаедстве” і ролі анархіскага руху ў іх. Другая прэзентацыя асабліва зацікавіла публіку – паслухаць прыйшло каля 30 чалавек. Дзякуй Alois Pupkin за сінхронны пераклад з ангельскай на чэскую!
Нажаль, паслухаць астатнія выступы на кірмашу мне не надта давялося, бо яны былі на чэскай і без перакладу =) Затое даведаўся добрую навіну – некаклькі тыдняў таму на волю (прынамсі, да суда) выйшаў апошні з 11-ці зняволеных падчас паліцэйскай аперацыі Фенікс – тады ў рух былі ўведзеныя правакатары, што мусілі арганізаваць ад імя анархістаў шэраг падпалаў.
Калі асноўныя справы скончыліся, я меў гонар пазнаёміцца з найбольш актыўнымі ўдзельнікамі беларускай дыяспары ў Празе – напрыклад паглядзець разам з імі фінал Еўравізіі, прамым эфіры заспеўшы тую самую дупу пад аўстралійскім сцягам, якую потым усе так імкліва абмяркоўвалі 🙂 А перад самы ад’ездам яшчэ і затусілі ўсе разам у мясцовай барухе Craft House, якая лічыцца штаб-кватэрай мясцовых беларусаў.
Што датычна самой Прагі то яна, чакана, мне спдабалася. Горад літаральна дыхае старыною. У рэкламных буклетах на гэты конт звычайна пішуць нешта ізбітае кшталту “Старажытнасць і сучаснасць перапляліся ў гэтым горадзе, ствараючы непаўторную карціну… блаблабла” Але гэта якраз тое, чаго не хапае Мінску, знішчанаму спачатку вайной, а потым бізнэс-інтарэсамі Сямейкі. Калі самыя старыя будынкі ў горадзе належаць да 1950-х – лічы, у горада няма гісторыі.
А ў Прагу пры выпадку абавязкова вярнуся ізноў 🙂

Three recent days were spent in Prague – mostly for the Cause, but time for leisure was also found. I need to say that it was a long time since I brought back home so many impressions.
On May 12-14th squat Klinika, Prague, held the 5th International Anarchist Bookfair, where I was invited.
In the evening of May 12 I presented to the comrades my insights on the prison system in Belarus. On the next day there was a detailed presentation about the last protests against “Law on social parasites” and the role of the anarchist movement in this protests. This presentation has drawn real interest – about 30 people came to listen it. Thanks Alois Pupkin for the simultaneous interpretation from Czech to English!
Unfortunately, I did not listen to many of other talks, because they were in Czhech without English interpretation =) However I received good news: a few weeks ago a last detainee, arrested during the Fenix police operation (when provocatours were infiltrated into the movement to organize a number of arsons on behalf of anarchists) was released, at least, until the trial.
When the major business was over, I had a priviledge to get acquainted with the most active participants of Belarusian diaspora in Prague – by, for example, watching Eurovision final together 🙂 (yeah, I have seen that ass under the Australian flag, which was later discussed so much). Also, before my departure we were hanging out in a bar “Craft House” which is considered to be a local Belarussian headquarter.
Concerning the Prague itself, I, expectably, liked it. The city is literally permeated with antiquity. Advertising brochures would say something like “Antiquity and modernity merged in this city, making a inimitable picture of… blahblahblah”. But this is exactly what Minsk – the city, which historical part was destroyed first by war and then by commercial interests of the Family, lacks. When the oldest buildings in a city are from 1950s – the city, roughly, has not history at all.
And what about Prague? I would come back there, for sure 🙂
