Imagine yourself flood in Germany and police killing anarchists because they may theoretically &#8220;take advantage of the disaster to overthrow the government.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Amakasu Incident occurred on September 16, 1923, in the chaos immediately following the Great Kant\u014d earthquake, in Japan. Fearing that anarchists would take advantage of the dis<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">aster to overthrow the government, a squad of military police led by Lieutenant Amakasu Masahiko arrested \u014csugi Sakae, It\u014d Noe, and \u014csugi&#8217;s six-year-old nephew.
